Tiger Brands General Worker (Labourer)

General Worker:
- In accordance with the employment equity plan of Tiger Brands and its employment equity goals and targets, preference may be given, but is not limited, to candidates from under-represented designated groups.
Key responsibilities:
- Participate in physical labour work, including lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads (up to 25kg)
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Stack and palletise finished cases on appropriate pallets
- Inspect materials and products for defects
- Complete relevant quality checks documents when necessary
- Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties
- Observe safety procedures and protocols
- Adhere to PPE standards
- Identify, Raise and assist in closing potential safety risks and observations
- Adhere to food safety policies
Minimum Requirements:
- Education – National senior certificate (matric)
- Must be willing to work shifts, including weekends and overtime when required
- Must be medically/physically fit
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment
