122 SITA Internships Available Across South Africa
The State Information Technology Agency (SITA) is inviting applications for 122 internship opportunities in various fields throughout South Africa. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R6,500.
This 12-month Internship Programme aims to equip graduates with valuable skills and practical experience. Interns who meet the programme’s requirements may be considered for permanent placement in critical roles within SITA.

- 5x Information Communication Technology (ICT)
- Northern Cape:
- 11x Data Scientist, Information Technology
- Mpumalanga:
- 3x End User Computing
- KwaZulu-Natal:
- 14x Server Engineer, Network Engineer, End User Computing, Service Desk
- Gauteng:
- 88x Software Development, End-user Computing, Information Security, Business Analyst
- Eastern Cape:
- 1x End User Computing
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be an unemployed South African citizen aged 18 to 35 years.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or 3-year National Diploma at NQF Level 6 in a relevant field.
- Have no prior work experience.
- Candidates from diverse backgrounds, including people living with disabilities, Whites, Coloureds, and Indians, are encouraged to apply.
