Position Overview:
- The Control Room Operator position at Marble Hall is a full-time onsite role focused on overseeing milling operations, ensuring smooth processing, and maintaining quality assurance within the manufacturing environment. The Control Room Operator has the following responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric/ Grade 12 certificate
- At least 2 years relevant
- Good communication Skills.
- Computer literate.
- Previous Experience advantage
- Ability to work in a team environment
Key performance areas (Duties and Responsibilities):
Milling Operations:
- SCADA PLC control process automation.
- Oversee magnet cleaning
- Milling of maize & sunflower
- Print Batch Reports
- Batching/mixing of recipes
- Plan & coordinate intake of raw materials
Supervision:
- Filling of raw material bins
- Supervise Pellet Mill Operators and Bin Controllers
- Verify Batch medication and Hands Adds
- Hands Add Operator communicate and control
- Staff: plan shift handover, distribution, and compliment
Quality Assurance:
- Pellet durability
- Pellets length and crumbs size
- Cross contamination prevention
- D50 particle size
Administration
- Verify and sign batch reports
- Verify and sign shift reports
