Position Purpose:
- A trainee Yard official will be required to undergo modular training, conduct and successfully complete the required modules as to qualify and certified as a Yard official.
Position Outputs:
- Attend and complete a theoretical Training Program within the required time frame.
- Attend and complete a practical Training Program within the required time frame.
- Develop competency to perform operations and operate equipment as assigned and be accountable for jobs at the end of the training period.
- Safely and efficiently accomplish work assignments and goals that are in line with the Training Program, company’s strategies and vision.
- Maintain comprehensive records (portfolio of evidence) of all theoretical and practical training experience for use in Progressing.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum Standard: GRADE 12.
- Must successfully pass a (psychological screening) battery test.
- Must successfully pass relevant to the job level medical test (including eyes and ears).
- Computer Literacy.
- Physically fit.
- Must successfully complete and pass a theoretical as well as practical training as a Yard Official.
