Fraser Alexander General Worker (Limpopo)
Description:
- This role exists to assist in the general duties on-site
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning of screens, grit channels, anoxic, aeration, clarifier, chlorine contact channel & sump basins
- Testing and recording MLSS, DSVI, RAS, SS, PH, DO, free & total chlorine, flow meter reading, screens, grit, & breakdowns
- Removing all dry sludge from drying beds & all other wastes
- Housekeeping – making the workplace clean.
- General inspection on (hand tools, PPE, machinery, buildings, equipment and work area). Report any defects and breakdowns observed
- Sampling
- Compliance with the SHEQ System
- Do toolbox talk, risk assessment, PTOs and safety meetings
- Check chlorine dosing and stock available
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12

- Good communication (verbal and written)

General Requirements:
- Must pass the mine’s criminal screening process
- May be expected to work rotating shifts
- May be required to work overtime from time to time
- Physical, mental and medical fit
