We are determined to build talent pipelines for our Stores and therefore we invite all suitably qualified and unemployed individuals to apply for the 2026 Learnership Opportunity.
We offer a 12-month programme that provides work experience in specific areas with critical skills within the organisation. You will gain valuable work experience, explore career paths and be able to network with professionals in the field of study. During this time, you will be based in one of our Massmart Distribution Centres (Riversands, Gosforth, Waterfall, Northfields & Brackengate) and be exposed to the world of retail.
In Addition to receiving a Certificate in Wholesale and Retail Operations and relevant work experience, you’ll also gain business, personal, and technical retail skills you can use across the business and throughout your career journey.
Minimum Requirements:
- South African Citizen
- Completed Matric / Grade 12
- Should not have been employed permanently employed continuously for more than 1 year
- Should not be studying full-time in the year of employment (August ‘25 – July ‘26)
- Should not currently be on or registered on a SETA funded Program
- Available and willing to work retail hours and on a fixed-term 12-month learnership contract
