Glencore Bursary South Africa 2027
Glencore South Africa (Alloys Division) is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme, for the 2027 academic year.
Bursaries will be awarded for studies within the following fields:
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
The bursary will provide cover for the following expenses: registration fees, tuition fees, prescribed textbooks, meals and accommodation, and a monthly cash allowance for incidental expenses.
Students in second and higher years of study will also receive financial assistance with purchasing a personal computer, if prescribed by the university.
Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to assessment and interviews as part of the selection process.
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria:
- You must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
- You must be studying or intend on studying towards an undergraduate qualification within one of the fields of study listed above
- You must have achieved a minimum “C” symbol at Higher Grade, for Mathematics (60-69%)
- You must have achieved a minimum “C” symbol at Higher Grade, for Science (60-69%)
- You must NOT be receiving any other bursary funding
- You must be studying or intend on studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation:
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- Latest academic transcripts, if currently studying (certified copy)
