About the Role:
We are offering an exciting NCAMA Learnership (NQF Level-2) in Pretoria for individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. This learnership is designed to provide a combination of institutionalized and on-the-job training, equipping you with the skills required to excel in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in both classroom-based and on-the-job training aligned with the learnership qualification.
- Focus on driving key factors such as Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, and Delivery to meet business goals.
- Learn the operation of tools and equipment used in specialized processes.
- Adhere to set workplace timelines and procedures.
- Support production processes and collaborate with peers and supervisors.
- Maintain integrity in all work tasks and seek opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute ideas to make assembly processes more efficient.
Performance Measures/Success Criteria:
- Complete the prescribed training program according to FMCSA and MerSeta requirements.
- Adhere to the training schedule to ensure competency is achieved.
- Successfully finish the learnership within the 12-month period.
- Rotate over shifts to gain comprehensive exposure during the training period.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be unemployed and under the age of 35.
- Matric/Grade 12 certificate with a pass in Pure Mathematics (HG/SG) and English.
- Mathematics Literacy, Additional Mathematics, and other types of non-standard Mathematics are not accepted.
