Our Manufacturing Household Textile Client is offering an exciting Sewing Learnership (CTFL National Certificate – NQF Level 2) for 2026

About the Learnership:

This accredited programme provides structured training, practical experience and personal development to help you build a solid foundation in textile manufacturing.

 

Learners will gain hands-on skills in:

  • Monitoring production processes and applying quality standards
  • Understanding CTFL materials, machinery and operations
  • Performing sewing and general production tasks
  • Pressing and finishing garments
  • Workplace health, safety and environmental practices
  • Communication and basic maths for the workplace
  • Understanding workplace legislation and productivity requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 9 / NQF Level 1 or ABET Level 4
  • Basic Communication & Mathematical Literacy (ABET Level 3)
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) available
  • Ability to complete practical assessments in a workplace environment
