About the Learnership:
This accredited programme provides structured training, practical experience and personal development to help you build a solid foundation in textile manufacturing.
Learners will gain hands-on skills in:
- Monitoring production processes and applying quality standards
- Understanding CTFL materials, machinery and operations
- Performing sewing and general production tasks
- Pressing and finishing garments
- Workplace health, safety and environmental practices
- Communication and basic maths for the workplace
- Understanding workplace legislation and productivity requirements
Training includes both theory and practical experience across:
- Health & Safety
- Manufacturing & Quality Standards
- Production Concepts
- Pressing & Finishing
- Communication Skills
- Mathematical Skills
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 9 / NQF Level 1 or ABET Level 4
- Basic Communication & Mathematical Literacy (ABET Level 3)
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) available
- Ability to complete practical assessments in a workplace environment
