Flyfofa Aviation Training, in partnership with the National Skills Fund and the Department of Higher Education and Training, is proud to announce an incredible bursary opportunity for Initial Cabin Crew Training.

What’s the Opportunity:

This bursary covers a full 12-week training program designed to prepare you for a rewarding career as a flight attendant. Not only does the program include all theoretical and practical training, but it also covers:

  • Internal and external SACAA exams
  • Accommodation
  • A monthly stipend

Upon completion, you’ll receive your Cabin Crew License, making you eligible to apply to both local and international airlines.

 

This bursary is specifically for young South Africans who meet the following criteria:

  • ✅ Must be a South African citizen
  • ✅ Aged between 18 and 23 years
  • ✅ Residing in Gauteng Province
  • ✅ Must have matriculated from a Quintile 1–3 school in Gauteng
  • ✅ Completed Level 3 English
  • ✅ Willing to undergo an Aviation Medical Examination
  • ✅ Minimum height of 1.6m with a BMI not exceeding 24.5
  • ✅ Highly motivated, safety-oriented, and culturally sensitive

Priority is given to:

  • Learners who attended Quintile 1–3 schools in Gauteng
  • SASSA Child Grant recipients

 

Selection Process:

The selection is thorough to ensure candidates are well-suited for the role:

  1. Pre-screening of applications
  2. Personality testing
  3. Medical examination
  4. Panel interviews
