NCV Engineering Programmes
Programmes offered:
- Civil Engineering & Building Construction
- Electrical Infrastructure Construction
- Engineering & Related Design
- Information Technology: Computer Science (Software Design & Development)
- Mechatronics
- Information Technology: Computer Science (Programming & Robotics)

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 9 pass with at least 50% in Mathematics and English, or
- PLP with 60% in Mathematics and Science, or
- AET Level 4 (120 credits)
NATED Engineering Programmes
Programmes offered:
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Campuses: Vereeniging & Sebokeng
Minimum Requirements:
- Pass N3 or NC(V) Level 4 Engineering, or
- Technical Matric (Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Technology), or
- Grade 12 with 30% Mathematics and 30% Science
Occupational Engineering Programmes
Programmes and campuses:
- Electrician – Vereeniging, Sebokeng, Heidelberg
- Fitter and Turner – Vereeniging, Sebokeng, Heidelberg
- Automotive Motor Mechanics – Vereeniging, Sebokeng
- Boiler – Sebokeng
- Welder – Sebokeng
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 9 pass with 30% Mathematics and 30% Science
- Applicants must be 16 years and older
- Must not have been previously funded by NSFAS
Documents Required for Application
Applicants must prepare the following certified documents:
- Certified copy of the latest school results
- Certified copy of ID
- Certified copy of Parent/Guardian ID
- Certified proof of residence
Important notes:
- Certification must be done by SAPS or a Commissioner of Oaths
- Documents must not be older than 6 months
- Internet café certifications are not accepted
NSFAS Funding:
All applicants must have applied for NSFAS funding for 2026 as part of the admission process.
