City of Ekurhuleni General Assistant (Urban Beautification)
Location: City of Ekurhuleni
Remuneration: R 191556 to R 262764 – Basic salary per annum (plus benefits)
Department: Environmental Resource & Waste Management Department (2019)
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 10
- Physical ability to perform all work required
Core Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance and safekeeping of equipment
- Loading of branches, garden refuse and rubble
- Execute instructions regarding herbicides and pesticides
- Cleaning/ weeding of flowerbeds
- Planting of trees and pruning of shrubs
- Digging and filling of graves for new, reserved, exhumations and second/ third Internments that may include the utilisation of jack hammer
- Any other work-related tasks given by the supervisor
