Clover is currently recruiting for a Sales Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating in Channels/Outlets where no Clover Merchandisers or Shelf Packers are employed, e.g. Service Stations, FSI and Bottom End of the Trade. This exciting opportunity is based at the Clover Clayville branch.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  •  Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
  • Business English: Fluent
  • Code 10 motor vehicle license

Duties and Responsibilities:

Increase sales volumes in stores        
•    Prepare route plans and adhere to call cycles        
•    Complete sales administration        
•    Liaise with customers at the store level        
•    Introduce appropriate measures to address customer needs        
 
Provide service to customers through sales processes        
•    Develop and maintain excellent customer relations        
•    Support customers with appropriate sales procedures        
•    Ensure constant stock availability        
•    Minimise stock returns        
•    Maintain facings
         
Monitor and report on sales volumes and pricing        
•    Record and report on sales per outlet and product category        
•    Implement negotiated prices        
 
Optimise the basket of principal products         
•    Negotiate optimisation of basket        
•    Introduce new products and Principals        
•    Arrange launches and promotional material
