The Civilian Secretariat for Police Service has announced a new vacancy for the position of Administration Clerk (Ref No: CSP/24/2025). Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for the Administration Clerk position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Senior Certificate/Grade 12
- Knowledge of clerical duties and relevant Public Service legislation
- Understanding of document management or filing systems
- Ability to capture and maintain data
- Computer literacy
- Strong planning and organising abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- High levels of confidentiality and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and work extended hours when necessary
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
General Clerical Support
- Record, organise, store, capture, and retrieve correspondence and data
- Distribute documents and packages to stakeholders
- Maintain the filing system for the Chief Directorate
- Maintain the incoming and outgoing registers
Procurement Support
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding the procurement of goods and services
- Obtain quotations and complete procurement forms for standard office items
Asset and Records Management
- Maintain the Chief Directorate’s asset register
- Maintain the leave register
- Coordinate the maintenance of personnel records
Travel and Logistics
- Arrange travel and accommodation
- Verify the correctness of subsistence and travel claims
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform ad-hoc duties as delegated from time to time
